Nothing brings me deep joy like seeing the smiles of those delighted by the cakes I’ve made.
As April’s Baker, cake making is an art I am dedicated to mastering. With my training and experience in both the Arts and the Food industry, it is my constant aspiration to blend beautiful creative designs and mouth-watering recipes. Each and every cake I create captures my full consideration.
Originally receiving my university education in Art and Design, I knew my future was to be a creator. And when I considered the enjoyment yummy food brought me, I made it my professional pursuit to devote myself to this art.
I undertook the Patisserie Diploma at Le Cordon Bleu, London and shortly began working as a pastry chef. When I found my passion in particular for cake making, I moved to New York City, USA, to complete the advanced course in cake-decorating at the International Culinary Centre, and found myself under the instruction of some of the industry’s most talented chefs. From there, I continued my journey by gaining experience at well-known establishments such as Ron Ben-Israel Cakes and Lily Vanilli, eventually leading me to create April’s Baker.
